Questions before Baseline launches.
Clear expectations matter. Baseline is still in pre-launch, and the answers below reflect that directly.
Clear answers before launch.
Baseline is built around real data, transparent recommendations, and clear expectations. The answers below reflect the product directly.
Does Baseline require an Apple Watch?
Yes. Baseline is designed specifically for Apple Watch and Apple Health. We use the health data your watch already collects to provide personalized recovery insights and recommendations.
How does Baseline work?
Baseline securely reads health data from Apple Health, analyzes your personal trends, and turns that information into clear, actionable insights. Every recommendation is based on your own physiological data, not generic averages.
How long does it take before I receive insights?
Most users begin receiving personalized insights within 3 to 5 days of consistent Apple Watch use. During this time, Baseline is learning your normal patterns to ensure recommendations are accurate and personalized.
Why doesn't Baseline show recovery immediately?
Trust is one of our core principles.
Rather than displaying estimated or placeholder values, Baseline waits until it has enough real data to generate insights with confidence. If we don't know, we'll tell you.
Does Baseline use fake or estimated health data?
No.
Baseline only displays insights that are supported by real Apple Health and Apple Watch data. We never generate fake recovery scores or fabricate health metrics simply to fill the screen.
Is my health data private?
Yes.
Your health data belongs to you. Baseline is built with privacy first. We do not sell your personal health data, and you remain in control of your information.
Do I need to wear my Apple Watch while sleeping?
For the most accurate recovery and sleep insights, we recommend wearing your Apple Watch overnight whenever possible. However, Baseline can still provide value using the data that is available.
Is Android supported?
Not yet.
Baseline is launching first for iPhone and Apple Watch. Android support is planned for the future.
How much will Baseline cost?
Pricing will be announced closer to launch.
Our goal is to provide a premium experience at a fair price while continuing to improve the platform with new features and insights.
Can I join the beta?
Yes.
Join the waitlist to be considered for early access. We'll invite users in phases as we expand testing.
Will Baseline replace Apple Health?
No.
Apple Health is the foundation. Baseline builds on top of it by helping you understand what your health data actually means through personalized insights and recommendations.
How is Baseline different from other health apps?
Baseline is built around three principles:
- Real data only. No fabricated metrics or placeholder scores.
- Personalized insights. Your body is compared to your own baseline, not generic population averages.
- Transparent recommendations. Every insight can be traced back to the health data that produced it.
Will I be able to delete my account and data?
Yes.
You can request deletion of your account and associated Baseline data at any time. Your privacy and control over your information are important to us.
Why should I use Baseline instead of just Apple Health?
Apple Health is excellent at collecting your health data.
Baseline is designed to help you understand it.
Instead of showing isolated numbers and charts, Baseline explains how your sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, activity, and recovery work together using your own history to provide personalized, evidence-based insights.
